Pia Lara Namdar on Discipline, Identity & Life After Sports

From growing up as a competitive swimmer in Mexico to leading the SMU Swimming & Diving program in Dallas, Pia shares the lessons that shaped her journey and inspired her to found Adelante Texas, a nonprofit that helps athletes navigate life beyond sports. Today, she also owns Lone Star Texas SC, female soccer team.
